NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Thursday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included,
Ltd.(13.81%), MAC Hotels(13.57%), Cargotrans Maritime Ltd.(13.15%), Madhav Infra Proj(13.05%), Margo Finance(12.73%), JSW Holdings(12.04%) and Morarjee Text(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 264.49 points up at 59808.45, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 85.35 points to 17741.7.
In the Nifty 50 index, 39 stocks traded in the green, while 11 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as
, ., , Cargotrans Maritime Ltd. and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd., C&C Construct, and FSN E-Comm()touched their new 52-week low in trade.
