Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for the Assam TET 2023, the candidates must meet the following criteria:
- They must be Indian citizens.
- They must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- They must have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.

Assam TET LP Teacher Qualification
The candidates who wish to apply for the post of Lower Primary (LP) Teacher must have passed the Assam TET 2023 for LP Teachers.
Paper I will be a GK base paper, while Paper II will be a subject-specific paper. The candidates must score at least 60% marks in each paper to qualify for the exam.
